Short Description of Activity
Met with national office staff and later Circle of Dreams co-founders to prepare for a grant application submission to support leadership development, bighorn sheep monitoring and RiverWatch monitoring. Conferred with and offered input to Kaye at national for actual grant writing process (and Kaye did most of the work that will benefit our BB!) Thanks Kaye! Tiny bit of time spent in communication with another small very grassroots philanthropic group known as the Ouray County Giving Girls (OCGG) who meet every couple of months and donate to a local non-profit.
Reflection/Evaluation
Circle of Dreams grant submitted in mid-September and we await news. Given busy schedules and COVID risks for indoor gathering, NSJBB declined the invitation to be a prospective recipient of OCGG funds this month with a request to be invited again in the future. We are honored to be on their list of prospective recipients.
