Short Description of Activity

talking about what we learned, loved and wish to follow up on from our experience on Hurricane Island;
9 people attended including our SD Broad, Karen. We talked over what was a positive from Hurricane- which included being outside, seeing and meeting other broads, great food, great staff, helpful participants- or no-one felt alone, interesting women, art, scientific observations, and the lovely site.

Reflection/Evaluation

1.We agreed to send out the timing poll for the meetings, both advocacy and general.
2.There was continued interest in connecting across the country- with webinars, meetings, however we can make that happen. Perhaps even an “open house” across the country to share, talk and learn.
3.Since science observations were important- will ask Michele Tremblay of NH Rivers if the insect observations and identifications are happening this winter at St Paul’s School.
4. Can we get back to looking at estuaries was a question. Michelle Scott will check with Melissa Paly for a Great Bay Estuary Update. Nancy Wilson offered to check with the Gundalow Company for possible Piscataqua River work next spring, along with a cruise.
5. All We Can Share -https://www.allwecansave.earth/anthology- was suggested as a book to discuss.
6. Alnoba is an art/nature level walking spot in Kensington NH
7. Linda showed Entangled at the Concord Woman’s Club with an audience of 10; will organize a River At Risk showing soon.
