Reflection/Evaluation
It was a challenging summer although we did feel like we are making headway on some issues. Several of the issues we advocated on under the previous administration, that seemed pretty hopeless at the time, are now showing movement in a positive direction. We hope that this Administration’s focus on Climate Change and Alternative fuels will bring more national attention to the statewide efforts to get oil leases and permits “approved” without adequate or meaningful environmental review. It was difficult to keep cancelling activities due to Covid, but realize we are playing the long game, and these are just a temporary setback in our plans.
