Short Description of Activity
Using the Spring Seeker app from Sky Island Alliance, we surveyed the site of the Hieroglyphics Spring, to aid in the data collecting of SIA.
Reflection/Evaluation
A very good activity. Attendees enjoyed the hike with the purpose to document the state of the spring along this trail. We then submitted the information to Sky Island Alliance for their research. We met our goal of learning this app and how to identify geological features of the spring, along with the nearby flora and fauna.
We will take more hikes using this app in other sites around our area.
