Short Description of Activity
Took Rabbi Dr. Adele with me to measure waterflow at Bear Siding and inspect Verde Springs. Water was deep above my legs. Adele and I made it down the cliff (she is 72 and walks with a cane). Managed to measure – me in the river, Adele recording. Next went to Verde Springs and hiked out to the confluence.
Reflection/Evaluation
Granite Creek had water but still does not meet the Verde. This month there was more water (springs) but no moving water. I walked a ways downstream and took many photos. The water comes from the Big Chino and comes up at Verde Springs and for miles downstream. Wondering why there was so much more water this month. Have not had any rain. Wondering if water released some where. Stillman Lake upstream from the confluence was dry. Photos available.
