Short Description of Activity
Met with Headwaters Economics on the case for Wilderness protection in CGNF plan. Not enough info on what draws people to Wilderness and how it’s driving new residents and recreation. The USFS deserves to be sued on the basis of their assumption that timber is the right priority, b/c economists are given little attention on the economics of recreation over logging. Maybe we can challenge the USFS’s assumptions on what is economically the priority and what is desirable or sustainable, rec or logging.
