Short Description of Activity

Sunday – Sept 26 – is World Rivers Day. Concerned citizens around the Pacific Northwest are gathering this to call out for restoration and preservation of rivers and watersheds and the wildlife dependent on them. Communities across the Pacific Northwest are gathering to continue momentum with last month’s Rally for the River and Ferry Terminal Bannering. Backbone Campaign, partnered with the SR Grassroots Team, is on a mission to re-wild 140 miles of the lower Snake River spearheading this weekends banner actions at locations across the Northwest.

Reflection/Evaluation

Very effective public outreach at the ferry terminals. Great opportunity for one-on-one conversations and information exchange. Able to hand out lots of flyers while engaging with a captive audience.
