Short Description of Activity
November 22 at 4 – 6 pm more on “”learning how to lobby on zoom”” to our ongoing “”learning how to write effective letters to politicians”” monthly sessions.
We will did some letter writing. Suggested topics : MN Boundary Waters; Enbridge Line 5; National Environmental Protection Act; Keep Climate Change in the Budget. We also understand the Invest In America act will allow the Central Maine Power Corridor to proceed despite voter disapproval. Also, leases in the Gulf Of Mexico are being issued for oil and gas drilling, as are those in the Cook Inlet in Alaska.
Reflection/Evaluation
Good progress on advocacy training, will try to coordinate getting more info on how many letters are written at these sessions.
