Short Description of Activity
Attended an earlier event at Cross Orchard Museum were members of the Native American cultural Group presented educational material to people attending. They did dances explaining regalia and occasion for the dances, told some of the history of Utes in this area and hd handcrafts for sale. They also had an information booth where I was given an information packet and told about the monthly meetings of the local group. I sent in membership information after ward and they attended the Native American Market Days on Nov. 20.
Reflection/Evaluation
There were a large number of vendors selling handcraft. Roland McCook the MC explained the purpose of the organization. dances were done , one in celebration of a girl’s 16th birthday. A Hoop dance demonstrated hoop dancing and then invited members of the audience to join him and try dancing with hoops.
