Short Description of Activity
Met with board and staff to discuss the concept of transferring the national monument to National Park Service management
Reflection/Evaluation
Board members and some staff were very interested in the proposal. The board must decide whether CFC has the capacity to lead a campaign. The Forest Service doesn’t want the monument and has been holding internal discussions about a transfer to NPS.
