Short Description of Activity
2022 Christmas Bird Count at Salmon Creek Greenway Park
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to monitory and count bird species along the Salmon Creek Greenway Park. 35 different species of birds were identified. We had great weather and saw and heard so many great birds. the waterfowl were amazing as the ponds were frozen over but the birds would walk on the ice instead of swim in the water. The crows also had a bit of an altercation but we could not figure out what the problem was. We had a great time and we shared bird species identification with one another. Our tally sheet is below. We also used E bird and “Birds of the Pacific NW” to verify our sitings. I submitted out tally sheet to our Audubon CBC leader.
