Short Description of Activity

Two hour organized tour of the Watershed Management Water reclamation Demonstration Site in Mid Tucson.

A docent from the organization leads the groups from one water saving model to another and explains the number of gallons of water each receptacle hold, the mechanics behind the construction, how to use Grey water from your washing machine, what detergent to use, how to construct compost toilets, etc.

Reflection/Evaluation

A lot of prep went into organization. Two google group notices were sent out and two EVITEs at least a month in advance. The total number on the Tucson google group is 163, but very few people actually committed to the event.. In general we have been having a hard time getting people to show up for events. This could have to do with the Covid Pandemic or the fact that the Group has not been active for a few years. We ended up with about 10 attendees, of which 7 were Broads. Five others who had RSVPd yes, cancelled on that date.
