Quarterly meeting of the BRATS group dialing in on Forest/River Issues. Katya from National also joined us.
Reflection/Evaluation
Lots of sharing. Waiting for hearing on River Democracy Act. Various report outs from the various committees – Forest Climate Alliance, review of the Oregon State Climate plan, the Rural Advocacy working group and the field checking working group. Talked about the 21″ Eastside screening. Also discussed the Elliot Forest and the research bill. Mentioned the plans for the Regional Broadwalk and August Westwind event.
Our priority is saving mature old growth and supporting the 30 x 30 initiative.
