Town hall with Commissioner with Phil Chang from Deschutes County. Open conversations with county residents.
Reflection/Evaluation
Phil Chang is and continues to be a huge supporter of conservation issues. Discussed that there is divisiveness with the other commissioners. His goals is for healthy schools ( prevention efforts against suicide, bullying, substance abuse and pregnancies). Working on a bill for a comprehensive fire control prevention. Wants to see wild fire resilient building codes and work on defenseable space. Had many other issues regarding dealing with our houseless population, affordable housing, and stability centers for those with mental health concerns. Looking to work for Parks and wildlife to develop more trails and campgrounds. A total of 101 people participated.
