Sagebrush Empire by Jonathan P Thompson was well received and sparked great discussion. Rose joined us half way through and her perspective was especially valuable. 9 Broads were participating
Reflection/Evaluation
As usual, went great! One participant had been on two other Broads Read and because of that and her experience during C19 and lack of social activity, I think, she said she’s agreed to be a co-leader in Arizona. We also had a woman from Tennessee who had just heard about Broads, saw Broads Read on the event calendar on national website and asked for Zoom link 20 min before we started. I’ve emailed her since. She’s PhD history at a university, has started traveling in west, wanted to know more, will be backpacking with her daughter in April in Southern Utah. She said she’d join us for our next Broads Read too.
