Short Description of Activity

Melanie Reese reported spending 7 hours monitoring and cleaning up at her Roubideau BLM site in February.
Judith Lopez spent 1.75 hours at her Adobe Badlands BLM site on 2/9/22. She found there were a lot of tracks around on the dunes from 4 wheelers and fat bike tires. There was no new trash around the main parking lot area. However, on the road in to the land south of that parking area, there was evidence of shooting with numerous shell casings and broken targets, glass and what appeared to be household china. One plastic bag worth of that kind of trash plus some plastic bottles was gathered. Pictures were taken

Reflection/Evaluation

The objective to keep these sites from accumulation of visitor trash has been met at least. Continued oversight of areas will be done. Efforts to prevent destruction from motorized vehicles will continue to be monitored.
