Short Description of Activity
Eleven Broads attended the TKO online Wilderness Ambassador Training
Reflection/Evaluation
We learned about the stewardship program in which we would provide information about LNT to trail users in both the Gorge and Mt Hood Wilderness areas. Trail Ambassadors sit at trailheads and talk with visitors while Wilderness Ambassadors hike the trails and visit with hikers. There are 4 sets of online videos which are required in which to participate as well as a background check. First Aid training will be offered at a reduced price. The next training is tomorrow. It should be a great opportunity for Cascade Volcanoes and we had a great number of attendees.
