Key Issue: Livestock Grazing Management
Activity Type: Other Administration (reporting, emails, calls, planning)

Short Description of Activity

Robyn and Arleen (active member concerned about livestock grazing on public lands) met with Jennifer and Shelby – new BB leaders at 4 Corners BB – to get acquainted and discuss grazing concerns and engagement with Indigenous partners

Reflection/Evaluation

Great to connect. Both BBs are fairly new to grazing though 4 Corners has a plan with Rose Chilcoat and local alternative school to visit Canyons of the Ancients for a field trip re: grazing. Arleen has expressed an interest to take the lead with NSJ but we don’t yet have a project/plan for action/monitoring. We also discussed how Jennifer has engaged with the environmental staff at Ute Mtn Ute and Robyn with Regina and one council member on various public lands related issues.
