Short Description of Activity
Robyn is lumping together all diversity, equity, inclusion and justice training, relationship building and CARE calls into one quarterly email. Activities include 7 webinars, planning and leading two CARE calls, three Broads Equity and Justice Committee meetings and all the preparation associated with the above. Also included are meetings, calls and email correspondence with Indigenous, Black and Latinx partners as well as research regarding BI & POC-led organizations. Not included in these reported hours are books read (3) or to which I have listened podcasts (3 or 4)
Reflection/Evaluation
Powerful learning continues, relationships are slowly being built, and specific Broads initiatives like CARE Calls and E & J Committee are progressing steadily with lots of opportunities to grow and engage. Perhaps the greatest challenge is integrating DEIJ within our membership and Broadband activities. Hopefully summer months might lend themselves to opportunities.
