Short Description of Activity
Six of us from our Polly Dyer Seattle Chapter participated in this rally and procession to the offices of Senators Murray and Cantwell. Genia Moncada organized our participation. Genia also organized a GOB table. See photo below. Before the procession we gathered in an auditorium on the U of WA-Tacoma campus where we wrote postcards to Senators Murray and Cantwell that we delivered at their offices as the goal of the procession. More than 150 people were in attendance. Our procession made the front page of the Tacoma News the next day. Genia sent the link for this news story to Katya.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was a very successful event. I enjoyed it, and it was great for the six of us Polly Dyer Seattle Broads to be able to get back together in person for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
