Short Description of Activity

NWSA is proud to have best selling author David Gessner join us for a far reaching conversation about the history and future of conservation. David is known for his recent works: All the Wild that Remains and Quiet Desperation – Savage Delight. By starting with recent decisions about Bears Ears, David will weave a narrative about the hopes for new inclusion of native American ideas into conservation while still holding on to the best of conservation ideals from Teddy Roosevelt and other early conservation leaders.

Reflection/Evaluation

This webinar supplied food for thought; a different way to look at land management than what the large federal agencies usually advocate in favor of.
