Grassroots Lobbying training – High Level Nuclear Waste Storage and Uranium Mine Clean Up – Lobbying on SB 54 – preventing NMED from issuing permits to transport and temporarily store high level nuclear waste in SE part of state; Also Sb89(?) setting up a coordinating committee under NMED to manage any federal funding for clean-up of uranium mining toxic waste locations in Grants/Gallup area.

This was useful in terms of knowing how to talk to various legislators about this issue.
