Short Description of Activity
This reports is a compilation of various wildlife-related activities ranging from crafting and disseminating action alerts regarding federal agency proposals (Unaweep Hydro and Greater Sage Grouse); addressing the CPW Commission and attending their meetings; attending the monthly SW CO Wolf Cooperative meetings and supporting the efforts of Working Circle to reduce livestock-wolf interaction on a ranch (now two) in North Park.
Reflection/Evaluation
NSJ Broads continue to suggest recommendations and raise concerns with CPW Commission. We used our network to inform partners concerned about the Unaweep Canyon Hydroelectric proposal. We broadcast the need for night surveillance at the ranch in North Park where wolf predation on cattle were documented and know of at least one Broad who participated.
