Short Description of Activity
Sally gave instruction on filling out Activity Reports to the Leadership Team = 1 hour. WCA-MC meet to discuss conducting a community survey about the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) fund distribution by the City of Grand Junction and the County Commissioners = 1.5 hours. The Climate Change group is reading “All We Can Save” and discussing actions we might take locally to combat climate change = 3 hours.
Reflection/Evaluation
I am somewhat confused and conflicted about what feels like an emphasis change on the part of WCA-MC. Also concerned that this change is coming from the organization with very little input from members of WCA-MC. Activity Report discussion was good even though I find them so frustrating.
“All We Can Save has essays from people who have multiple perspectives on what we can do and how we might can out significant changes. I do find the circular seating arrangement and the intent of members of this group to be supportive of each other as we struggle with this challenging issues to be what is needed.
