Reflection/Evaluation
The purpose of the meeting was to better communicate our needs to Danielle Katz, who is heading up the Source to Sea Event. Our chapter is responsible for hosting an event in Portland on 7/9 or 7/10 but I have been too busy and have dropped the ball. We don’t have the funds to support a large event and so I am hoping to make it a picnic/BBQ for our chapter at a park along the Columbia on either day. The day of the event is not secure so I don’t want to register for a day use area and then have it turn out to be the wrong day. I don’t really see this event coming to fruition unless I get some help from my leadership team or other partners. I will talk with my team next week at leadership meeting.Tess EcEnroe said she would help with a press release. i have also emailed Danielle to get a better idea of the date before I spend time searching for a venue.
