Broads from the North Olympic Peninsula and met up with Broads from the South Sound broadband to march to the Capitol where an action was planned to bring attention to the dire need for removing the Snake River dams soon!
Reflection/Evaluation
SOwS felt this event was very successful: the speeches were great, the turnout (150 or so) adequate and the weather was perfect!! Our 4 South Sound Broads , plus 2 from the North Olympic Peninsula (Krestine and Debra, not pictured) provided needed support for this rally. Annie Cubberly even made it into the media when her photo was featured in the Tacoma Tribune on Sunday morning!

Sound Broads (from left to right) Taylor Goforth, Susan Bakke, Tami Black and Annie Cubberly close ranks around the inflated Orca to show support for the removal of the Snake River Dams. If the Snake River salmon go extinct, the southern resident Orca will not be far behind.
