Reflection/Evaluation
We marched to each of the congressional members’ offices on Officer Row and delivered our postcards to the staffers of Inslee, Cantwell, Murray, and Herrera Beutler. Here is the link to the article in the Vancouver Columbian newspaper: : https://www.columbian.com/news/2022/apr/22/salmon-climate-spark-vancouver-earth-day-demonstrations/
It was a very very fun day! Great turnout! Michele Pinkham spoke from her heart about the impact of the salmon on the tribes. Michelle Siedelman spoke about how we can help mitigate climate change and it was a very emotional speech. Krestine did a wonderful job in organizing, getting signs, getting the entertainment. Taylor also had the table duty and encouraged folks to write postcards. All in all, it was one of the best events of the year for our region! So glad to work with such a great group of Broads!
