Short Description of Activity
Judith Lopez spent 1.25 hours at the Adobe Badland’s WSA with.5 hours RT transportation. There was no obvious new trash added, so focused on area below the parking lot picking up about 5 pounds of broken glass. For years people have gone to this site and shot at beer bottles and other shatter-able objects.
Reflection/Evaluation
The fact that trash isn’t being thrown on this site at the level it was previously is indicative of some success. It is hoped that by removing trash consistently, people have been less likely to leave new trash. There are years of broken glass to continue to remove. Unfortunately people still use the area for 4 wheelers and bikes.
