Short Description of Activity
We toured the Riparian area at Gilbert Water Ranch, a municipal, effluent water treatment area that replenishes the aquifer to create a riparian area for wildlife and recreation for humans.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was very informative. The guide was friendly and knowledgable, maybe even interested in becoming a Broad. We learned about our own city water system and enjoyed identifying plant species and birds.
