One of the discussions was about CEC’s wildfire mitigation plans as also discussion regarding why the do not support the breaching of the Snake River Dams.
Reflection/Evaluation
Julie and I both attended to have an idea of what we are up against with CEC specifically around the breaching of the dams. Lots of propaganda regarding the importance of keeping hydropower intact. They don’t believe that renewable energy – solar or wind will work. They are telling people that hydro-power is carbon free. Was able to ask a couple of questions but they pretty much skirted answering my questions. Asked about sending a rebuttal to the Ruralite mag….they suggested I send it to the board first. Was surprised that only 16 people attended which 3 of those were from CEC.
