Short Description of Activity
I called my congressional reps and senators about stopping border wall construction and transfer funding from the Dept of Homeland Security to Dept of the Interior. I also called the offices of Lucille Royball-Allaard and Henry Cuellar, two members on the House Appropriations subcommittee.
Reflection/Evaluation
The staffer of Lucille Roybal-Allard was very encouraging and told me to be sure to call my reps, which I did. She also thanked me so much for taking the time to call. The staffer at Maria Cantwell’s office was also very encouraging and thanked me for calling. The other calls went to voicemail.
