Short Description of Activity
Sarah Madsen And Barb Fox Kilgore solitude monitored the Salmon Butte trail in the Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness Area of Mt Hood
Reflection/Evaluation
We hiked the Thursday before the 4th holiday and there was no one on the trail but 2 people and 1 dog.
We put in the data for the recreation site recording condition of the site, surrounding vegetation, trash, other reportable usage. At the top of Salmon Butte, a 360 view of Jefferson, Hood, Adams, St Helens and Rainier.
We hoofed 13 miles with a 3000-elevation gain. We earned our supper!!!!
