Short Description of Activity
Attended Bill Mckibbens lecture/q and a virtually. He was very interesting and motivated me to get more involved in climate change advocacy and personal changes. Also inspired me to seek out local Third act organizations.
Reflection/Evaluation
See description above. BEsides the speaker being very inspirational and motivational, it was good to meet new Broads Executive director and hear about the NOreasters broadband. His ideas were thought provoking, especially about banks and the carbon impact of their investments in fossil fuels. Also of interest is that we older adults need to partner with young people and let them shine. We might need to be the ones to put ourselves at risk (not physical) at rallies etc.
