Short Description of Activity
This was a presentation for State and Local agencies to discuss how to address the upcoming challenges for planning and providing for their energy needs.
Reflection/Evaluation
Some of the ideas discussed: (1) US Government could take over drilling and then they would own oil and could decide how it is allocated (2) Need to address local price gouging (3) up production and incentives for electric cars (4) Address threats to system, including ransomware. Focus on recovery options and having a backup system not connected to the internet. (5). UN yesterday stated we have 30 months to turn global emissions around (6) Russian oil and gas is the most methane producing in the world.
