Short Description of Activity
Micky, Darlene, Barb, Laurie, and Linda met virtually to plan events and membership meeting.
Reflection/Evaluation
The agenda is below. We discussed our upcoming Rally for Climate/Forests, and Darlene shared her wonderful letter to DOF for Elliott Research State Forest Management Plan. We discussed the staffing changes at national office and were saddened by the fact that Katya will not longer be with us. We discussed the tree plantings at Pierce, Steigerwald, and Ridgefield refuges. We felt they were a huge success. Barb is researching Oregon refuge needs at Tualatin wildlife refuge. We discussed the possiblity of getting walkie talkies for our hikes and determined that they would be useful. Laurie will research these and share with Barb. Holiday party is planned at Laurie’s house with book share and potluck on Dec 20 for luncheon. Barb and Linda are going to plan an outing at Oregon Art Museum with possible tour of Indigenous art history exhibit in January. Also researching possible books for book groups. Laurie and Darlene to join Oregon Wild and PDX 350 in sign making event on Sunday. Should wild!
