Short Description of Activity
The Broad that attended May’s meeting, Kate Daniel, and I met about drought issues and climate change as last month’s topics had evolved in that direction with attendees showing higher levels of interest during our visioning exercise. Kate is on the Board for Grand Valley Citizens Climate Lobby and she and I agreed to bring in speakers to the May meeting. Susan Hess and Aaron Hoffman were our speakers for 45 minutes.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of having outside speakers for an important subject was met. As an aside, I found Kate Daniel a very organized person to work with; she has a lot to offer our organization (tho will be busy up until the Nov election as a. precinct chair).
