Reflection/Evaluation
Theo gave a great tour and used our visit to flesh out the next Broads visit to be scheduled in the coming months. We saw clear freshwater streams, and highly polluted ones that were filtered moving through the marsh into freshwater, before entering a reversing tide that pulls fresh water out to saltwater in the Penobscot and back, awesome! Theo explained how she and other volunteers monitor 8 sites to measure the oxygen levels along the way for Maine DEC.
