Short Description of Activity
NSJBB is continuing to update historical (over 20 years old) rare plant record, data to be given to Colorado Natural Heritage Program at CSU. In August, we visited 4 sites, and have discovered six rare plants and one rare plant community. This will be an ongoing project, continuing in the spring. Meanwhile, we will prepare reports on this year’s findings.
Reflection/Evaluation
Re-locating rare plant populations. The goal was met, with five species found. We were especially excited by our trip to Engineer Mountain. where relocated 3 species. This is probably the end of this field season, and we’re ready to resume the project in the spring.
