Short Description of Activity
Annual SBEADMR stakeholder field trip with GMUG NF staff, Forest Service and state research team members, Adaptive Management Group, state foresters, and community members. Reviewed past and proposed aspen regeneration treatments in the Paonia area. Discussion included science team presentations on aspen health and disease and suggestions for research/monitoring opportunities.
Reflection/Evaluation
Good opportunity for discussion with individual science team members and Forest staff about proposed timber management projects in an informal setting. Continue to build relationships with other AMG members and Forest staff for use at future project planning meetings.
