Short Description of Activity
Christmas Bird Count along Salmon Creek Greenway in Clark County Wa
Reflection/Evaluation
Jean Brodahl and myself had a great day of birding! We walked along the Salmon Creek Greenway watching for birds and marking them on the tally sheet. The tally sheet is attached. Among the species are juncos, sparrows, finches, spotted towhees, gulls, Northern Flickers, Belted Kingfisher, goose, American Wigeon, ring-necked ducks, mergansers, and Virginia Rail. I tallied up our results and sent them off to our Audubon project lead. We also met some characters along the way that may very well have been looking to pick us up. Sorry, guy, we’re on a bird mission today, not a guy mission! Great day with dry but cold weather! Hope to keep this up for years to come!
