Short Description of Activity
Colorado Trails Alliance -Roundtable – 2 hours, CWA- 1 hour, Leadership Team meeting -2 hours, Write 1st draft for annual report of activities for the Grand Junction Area BB and send to other leadership team members for suggestions- 2 hours
Reflection/Evaluation
Roundtable meeting was most interesting because many of the members summarized the work done during 2022. The FS representative said slightly over 2000 fallen across trails trees had been cleared by various Roundtable members, the BLM representative reported on seasonal closures and plans for expanded camping opportunities for next year as well as a reservation system.
Writing the draft annual review document was great for I learned got a lot more done this year that I thought. I hope all people on our email list will read the document when it is finalized and also realize all that accomplished during 2022.
I believe we need redefine our Leadership roles for 2023 to clarify who is doing what. It has seemed we struggled with communication among us all this year.
