Short Description of Activity
We monitored two routes in Ridgway State Park for the Colorado Butterfly Monitoring Network for a total of 16 hours. We hope to expand and create routes outside the park to monitor butterflies next year. Butterflies are a great indicator species and tell us how the environment is doing.
Reflection/Evaluation
Whether we see butterflies or not, it’s still data!
