Short Description of Activity
Helped to plan and organize a response and resistance to the shipping container wall that Governor Ducey was illegally placing along the southern arizona border on Federal land.
I connected several individuals and organizations into the Border resistance movement.
Lots of e-mails, whats app posts and several behind the scenes phone calls.
Reflection/Evaluation
The on the ground protests and presence forced a stop to Wall constrruction, prodding the DOJ to act and resulting in an agreement with the State of Arizona to stop all constuction and under the direction of the Federal Govenment to remove all containers and restore the environmental damage.
