Short Description of Activity
Bi-monthly meeting with conservation groups in Central Oregon.
Reflection/Evaluation
Legislative update with upcoming legislative session. Priorities are “Cleaning Healthy Buildings”, Make a Dairy Moratorium bill- plus chickens. New bill – Factory farms. A few package bills regarding “right to repair bill (household appliances), “truth in labeling”, phasing out single use plastic and styrofoam. Forest issues depends on who is in Senate and Govenor. I-5 bridge replacement. Concerns about state budget with recession. Other partners shared issues they are working on.
