Short Description of Activity
12 people attended the chapter meeting at Kennedy School in Portland in October.
Reflection/Evaluation
The speaker, Lauren Anderson, presented a review of the benefits of MOH forests and the disadvantages of monocultures. I thought it was important for folks who were new to have a better grasp of these concepts, although it was review for most of us. It was also a great introduction to Oregon Wild for the new people. The meeting went well but we need more events and more leaders to host events in order the keep the community going. I cannot continue to do the majority of the work.
