Measurable Outcomes
Outcome 1: Plants planted (70 plants)
Outcome 2: Outreach to potential Broads
Short Description of Activity
Plant native plants in areas requested by State Parks manager; fund the acquisition of the plants. Provide morning snacks to volunteers.
Reflection/Evaluation
YES! The goal was met in cooperation with Riversedge West , which conducted on-line sign ups and advertised (after our Broads emails went out) to their core volunteers. There was clear instruction on planting methods by Riversedge west plant biologist, Christine. The park manager indicated planting locations and had his maintenance person auger out a “starter hole” YES, we met the goal and it was an added plus that we had two new volunteers interested in other Broads activities. Also, regular “Bros” enjoyed it.
