Activity Type: Broadband Meeting (prep, implementation & follow up)
Short Description of Activity
Some of our broadband’s leadership team and Sally Sharp met via Zoom to discuss several issues regarding our Sept. retreat. Ground rule messaging to set the tone for the two days, including courtesy and being respectful of others, will be prepared prior to a retreat next year. Messaging will be conducive to our retreat goals of camaraderie, stewardship / advocacy, renewal and inspiration to re-engage. Examples also include showing up on time for scheduled presentations, cleaning up after meals, listening to others and making sure everyone has a chance to speak, and staying on topics related to the GOB mission/ topic during scheduled discussions. In addition, individual emails were sent to participants to communicate we are glad they attended, and see if they have any feedback.
Reflection/Evaluation
Zoom session went well and this “brainstorming” was helpful. Also, the retreat participant feedback received was positive.
