Short Description of Activity

Linda Folkestad led her first hike with the Broads.

Reflection/Evaluation

The group hike to the Eagle Creek trail was a great success! We carpooled to the Trailhead and enjoyed our lunches on the trail. Linda did a great job of waiting for people to catch up. We had walkie talkies for communication between the lead hiker and the sweep. I liked the idea of walkies and plan on suggesting them for our hikes in the future. We engaged a new member who was not engaged until now. I am hoping that Linda can lead more hikes in the near future.
