Activity Type: Stewardship (monitoring, sampling, planting, etc.)
Key Partners: Sky Island Alliance
Measurable Outcomes
Outcome 1: Stream/river sampled (1 sites/plots)
Short Description of Activity
Obtaining and observing information on the health of Cave Creek in the Tonto National Forest, north of Cave Creek, AZ.
Reflection/Evaluation
Main objective was to supply Sky Island Alliance with facts and photos for the condition of the springs/creek
in this area. We saw that there was a good amount of water in the creek. Outcome could have been better in that we had only one volunteer besides us leaders. We had hoped for several more, to teach show and teach them how to use the Spring Seeker app.
