Short Description of Activity
Micky and Laurie held 2 virtual planning meetings for the 2023 Broadwalk.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal for the activity was to plan food, presenters, advocacy, hikes, stewardship, and budget for the upcoming Dry Falls Broadwalk. We have the food, presenters, hikes, and budget well under way; we are still working on stewardship projects in the area. Laurie submitted an application to Washington State Parks for a group volunteer project for Saturday, April 15. Debra is also working on a project with Nature Conservancy but nothing is definite at this time. Lisa will be joining Debra, Laurie, Micky, Rynda, Penelope, Taylor, and Cyndi for our call in December. Rynda still needs to create a word doc with the hikes in narrative form. Laurie still needs to verify technology needs for presenters. Stewardship projects have not been confirmed yet, but speakers are well on the way! This team has been absolutely AMAZING to work with! Everyone on the committee offers to help and follows through with their offers! It takes a village and this village is TERRIFIC!
